Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel (THE BLOG)

My blog was created sometime in 2007 under a different name. It wasn't properly in use until February of 2013 when I decided to give a friend's advice some thought. Through my blog's posts, you can find a range of topics. Anything from music and book reviews to daily, personal life stories I share. Sometimes I say too much in my posts while at other times I say too little. What can I say? I'm human (and I talk too much). The title "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" was inspired by Mariah Carey's 12th album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel." I loved the title because I felt I could relate to it. This blog is filled with my experiences and I am not perfect as you have read, but I'm trying to be as good as an angel as I can be. That is where my blog title came from. As for my blog's URL, it was inspired by a follower I had on Twitter. Her username was souldeepbeauty. The reason I chose this was because I'm not exactly your Beyonce, top model or everyday beauty queen. Boys don't look at me and go, "daaannng I want her number." I've never been the girl guys fall head over heels for. My beauty has always been soul deep. I'm better with words and emotions than I am with beauty. Frankly, being beautiful has never been my goal. Being happy was and is my goal. I created this blog to be my outlet to the world and the escape from the reality I'm trying to avoid for a few hours. Instead, this blog has grew into a place people come to find similar experiences, meanings behind song's lyrics and videos and a place to feel as though someone else knows their pain.
