Tinder - Confessions of a 20 year old

You can say I get pretty bored on Saturday nights. & when I say pretty bored, I mean VERY bored.

It started off as just something to do on a Saturday night but I soon began to check it every hour.

That something is Tinder.

Tinder is a dating app. Using your location (and GPS) and Facebook information, Tinder gives you guys (or girls) to match up with. Using only your first name, your age, and five photos, you swipe right and left on potential matches within a range of miles that you choose. If you swipe you like them and they swipe they like you then its a match and you two are able to message each other.

Just my luck, I have met many guys near me through this app but they're all douches who cant hold conversations. No, nevermind. They're not douches but they seriously cannot hold a conversation. I mean, yeah I'm awkward but not that awkward.

Even more so, the ones who are lucky enough to get my number wind up asking me the same night if I could come hang with them and if I decline then there's no reply. WOMP.

Tinder is only for fun purposes. I doubt I'll meet someone who I could actually fall in love with. I started with the hopes of that but I'm young. I have time to fall in love. This is just temporary fun to pass the time until I am able to get out and date... or find the courage to not be so shy to date.

So if you're thinking of joining, JOIN! Just do it. Live a little.
