Sail Out

The long awaited EP is HERE & Jhene Aiko didn't disappoint.

If you don't know the soul angel, Jhene Aiko, she has been featured on many hip hop songs this year including Sparks Will Fly (J. Cole), From Time (Drake), & Beware (Big Sean). She has finally released her long awaited 7 song EP, Sail Out, which is on Itunes and in stores. The EP features the talents of Kendrick Lamar, Vince Staples, Ab-Soul and Childish Gambino.

Words can't explain how relevant Jhene's music is to my life. I had to order the EP from Best Buy before buying it off iTunes also (I wanted a solid copy). The EP is filled with melodies about getting lifted and relationship problems. Its not typical because Jhene puts her own spin on things. The only downside to this project is there aren't enough songs. *sad face* Anywhom, of all the songs, The Worst is my favorite off the EP. Its a reflection of my current relationship trouble and that's why I've featured it on my blog. Since I can't really explain the greatest of this EP, take a listen for yourself on iTunes or Youtube. Guaranteed you'll be a happy fan or... you just don't know good artists when you hear them.
