Drake feat. James Fauntleroy – Girls Love Beyonce
A little after dropping his new single, No New Friends, Drizzy released this track, Girls Love Beyonce, featuring James Fauntleroy sampling the hook from Destiny's Child's Say My Name on their hook. To be honest, I don't see how it relates to girls loving Beyonce but whatever. After a few plays of this song, it grew on me. Drake raps/sings about his dating troubles with women and his search for a woman who will be the reason he doesn't want to go out every evening. "I need someone that will help me think of someone besides myself." He does make a point here: "Look, I know girls love Beyonce. Girls love to fuck with your conscience. Girls hate when niggas go missing. & shawty you ain't no different." Well, girls do love Beyonce, some like to mess with your conscience, girls hate when you go missing, but I'm not sure how many of us are no different. From personal experiences, most of that is true. My favorite line from this song would be: "All my young boys round me saying get money and fuck these hoes. Where we learn these values? I do not know what to tell you." Pretty sure some of us need to ask ourselves where did we learn these values. Our generation doesn't believe in love nor commitment in relationships because of it.
