One of the best things I could have came across on Pinterest:
THIS. It took me two days but I wrote out and organized every last assignment I would have for the whole semester (including breaks). I am completely aware how obsessive this looks but it really has helped me stay organized. I printed out the months of September, October, November and December, stapled them together and thumb-tacked the list to my wall. Each day that pasts, I marked off the assignment I completed and sometimes I write my grade in. Also, I carry around the month I'm in with my books just to be sure not to forget anything. This is so awesome that I no longer use my planner (& I love my planner). While it sucks that I no longer use the planner, it has been so convenient to have all of my assignments in one place. I took a class in using Microsoft Office products so this came easy. If you'd like to do this and the link above doesn't help you out much, I am willingly to email you step by step how I did it.
