Just for funnies, this is what I compare it to. I had to watch this movie in envirionment scince. Who knew this would happen to my very own city?
The city is currently the way it is because the government began watching the toxic algae problem back in July of 2011 but said NOTHING. They knew then and we know now. They're now using this as a way to bring money into the city and to give the news station a reason to stay on air all day. Hearing the same story over and over and over is getting infuriating. They've even called FEMA and brought in the National Guard to pass out free water to those in need. No restaurant is opened so no food. You can shower but only if you're a healthy adult otherwise you must use bottled water. I don't get it. It doesn't add up. More so, they're playing around with the water result tests. On Saturday, August 1st, we were told the tests had been sent out at 3 AM that morning and would be back around 7 PM that night to discuss how to handle the crisis. 7 PM came and they said "it'll be ready by 6 AM Sunday." They were sent off to Cincinnati, mind you. Onward, 6 AM, still no results. We were promised yet again that there would be results at 3 or 4 PM. Still none as of now. They know something and just aren't telling us.
But we're praying this is all over TODAY.
PS. The water looks the same, doesn't smell and feels how it usually does. I believe this whole thing is to cause us to panic so the government can bring money back into the city. I don't understand how this works but okay. Whatever. Thanks for the scare government but can we MOVE ALONG?! We are Ohio's FOURTH largest city and we have no water. Sucky way to get known. We gotta get it together. & no, I don't trust this water as much as I don't trust the government handling the situation.
